N°24 | DR FLATTERZUNG ET LES LES SEPT PECHES CAPITAUX DE LA MUSIQUE CONTEMPORAINE
DR FLATTERZUNG ET LES LES SEPT PECHES CAPITAUX DE LA MUSIQUE CONTEMPORAINE
In a camping, highly representative of the end of the “glorious thirties” (the 3 decades of post-war economic boom), Cornelius Flatterzung, Doctor Honoris Causa in the field of music, in fact a charlatan, proposes a conference pompously called “The seven capital sins of contemporary music”.

An orchestra recruited for this occasion accompanies him, but his project is not going to happen exactly as expected. An old regular of the camping, an unusual man, in fact the most emblematic music composer of the 20th century, is going to influence the well being of his lecture .

This new show is a cheeky and loving tribute to the different “chapels” of contemporary music, seen as capital sins. Seven “musical chapels” are represented through seven surprising skits that rewrite the rules of stage representation by using marionettes, Super 8 projections, OHP, shadow theatre, etc… Inspired by the Pop Art movement of the 70s, this show gives a prominent place to raw noise.
